Ferrari and Charles Leclerc dominated the final day of the 2026 Formula 1 pre-season test in Bahrain by almost a second, Afrosport reports.
The Monegasque topped the morning session with a time of one minute 33.689 seconds before improving to a test-best time of one minute 31.992 seconds, 0.879 seconds clear of the rest of the field.
Leclerc finished ahead of reigning world champion and McLaren driver Lando Norris while four-time world champion Max Verstappen, George Russell and Pierre Gasly completed the top five.
Earlier on day two, Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli was fastest ahead of Oscar Piastri, Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and Norris while Russell was fastest on day one ahead of Piastri, Leclerc, Norris and Antonelli.

Mercedes racked in the most laps in the second test with 432, followed by Racing Bulls (407 laps) and Haas (404 laps) while Aston Martin had the lowest mileage once again with 128 laps.

The paddock will now head to Melbourne for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix on March 8.
