Alfa Romeo have become the latest Formula 1 team to unveil their car ahead of the 2023 season.
The launch event was held jointly in the Swiss city of Zurich and team’s headquarters in the nearby town of Hinwil.
Alfa Romeo’s new car sees a departure from the traditional red and white livery to a more aggressive red and black which is reflection of their new sponsorship with online gambling platform, Stake.
Valtteri Bottas described the car as “stunning” and is an upgrade from last year’s car which he hopes will see them move higher this year.
“The C43 is finally here, and I cannot wait to bring it out on track. I really like our new livery, I think it’s stunning, and a fine evolution from last year’s one,” Bottas said on the team website.
“It’s been an interesting first season with the team, we made some pretty solid progress together, and now there’s only one direction to follow: up, higher, and better.
“There is obviously still work to do and things to improve, but I am confident we have it in ourselves to aim for even higher results this year. I cannot wait to go back to racing, I am fully charged and eager to get the new season started.”
