Eberechi Eze says he enjoys playing with Crystal Palace teammate Michael Olise after the duo of Nigerian descent were involved in all the goals in the Eagles’ 3-2 Premier League win over Sheffield United on Tuesday night.
Eze scored a brace with Olise assisting both before netting the third goal himself to hand Palace their first win in five competitive games.
The goal combination between Eze and Olise is the most by any player at the club in the league, with the latter assisting the former seven times since the start of last season.

“As I’ve said all the time, I enjoy playing with him because he’s a top player, but there’s loads of other players in the team who work so hard and create space for us to do our thing, so it’s the type of performance we want to be putting in,” Eze told the club website.
He added: “I know whenever Michael’s got the ball, he’s looking for that type of pass [for the first goal], so I just knew I had to put myself in and got a good foot on it, I guess.
“The second one, again, always trying to create space on the edge of the box, and I know that if I get a chance, I’m going to take it.”
Eze and Olise have a combined 11 goals and four assists in the Premier League this session and will look to be in the action again when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
