Former Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has dropped a hint about Victor Osimhen’s potential move to Chelsea this summer.
Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move from Napoli this summer even though he has two years left on his contract.
European giants including Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in his services but they are yet to match Napoli’s €100m valuation.
A few weeks ago, Napoli sporting director confirmed that the Nigeria international has handed in a transfer request in an attempt to force his way out of the club.
In a new twist, Ogu who is a close associate of the 2023 African Footballer of the Year took to social media to drop the transfer hint.

Ogu and Osimhen are best of friends outside the football pitch with the two players spotted at several outings in Lagos during the summer break.

Osimhen has not been involved in Napoli’s games since Antonio Conte took over as the club’s new manager due to his uncertain future.
Although he trains with the team, the 25-year-old was dropped for Napoli’s pre-season games, he missed their Coppa Italia game against Modena a fortnight ago and their Serie A opener against Verona that ended in a 3-0 loss.
