Lamine Yamal made headlines once after reaching new milestones in Spain’s 3-0 Euro 2024 Group B win over Croatia on Saturday evening in Berlin.
La Roja had to wait until the hour mark to go ahead through Fabian Ruiz’s assist for talisman Alvaro Morata.
Ruiz would go on to score Spain’s second goal in the 32nd minute before Yamal set up Dani Carvajal for the third and final goal in added time of the first half.

The 16-year-old of Moroccan heritage became the youngest player to assist at the Euros and was also the youngest player to feature in the history of the continental tournament.

Spain’s victory gives them early command in Group B and will next tacks Italy.
Earlier in the day, Switzerland defeated Hungary 3-1 in a Group A encounter in Cologne, Kwadwo Duah of Ghanaian heritage and Cameroon-born Breel Embolo getting on the scoresheet.
