Anthony Elanga set a new Premier League assist record after setting up Chris Wood twice in Nottingham Forest’s 7-0 bashing of Brighton & Hove Albion at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon, Afrosport reports.
The former Manchester United winger first set up Morgan Gibbs-White for the second goal after Lewis Dunk’s own goal in the 12th minute set the tone for a goal-filed afternoon.
Elanga then laid the ball for Chris Wood who scored Forest’s third and fourth goals. It was the 10th occasion the Sweden international of Cameroonian heritage assisted the New Zealand forward stretching back to last season.
