Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad has completed the signing of AS Roma midfielder, Houssem Aouar for a fee in the region of €12 million plus bonuses.
The creative Algerian midfielder leaves the Italian outfit after just one season having scored four goals from 25 appearances.
The former Olympique Lyon player arrived at Roma as a free agent last season and had a good start but was later limited to playing time by managers, Jose Mourinho and Danielle De Rossi.
The opportunity to reignite his career sees him move to the Gulf nation where stars like new teammate Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and many others abound.
AS Roma will earn €12 million from his sale which is a capital gain having signed him as a free agent.
