Skhiri expressed his delight at completing the move and revealed he is ready to take the next step after securing a move to Deutsche Bank Park.
“Eintracht Frankfurt are a club that have developed considerably in the last few years,” he said. “I was impressed by the intensive way the club management made efforts to sign me.
“I’m certain Frankfurt is the right next step for me and that together we can achieve our objectives. I want to play my part in that.
“After having such a great time with Koln, it was particularly important for me to join a club that plays in Europe and where the emotional side of things plays a big role.
“With that in mind, I’m especially looking forward to the home games in front of the wonderful Frankfurt crowd,” Skhiri added.
The defensive midfielder spent the last four seasons with Koln after joining from French side Montpellier. He appeared 133 times for Die Geißböcke, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists.
