Mali international Bilal Toure has completed his move to Italian side Atalanta in a club record signing deal worth around €30 million from La Liga club Almeria, the club announced on Saturday.
The 21-year-old joins the Nerazzurri on a long-term deal, replacing the outgoing Rasmus Hojlund, who is headed to Premier League giants Manchester United.

Toure, who was born in Ivory Coast, began his career through the ranks of the Afrique Football Elite academy program before sealing a move to Europe to join French side Stade Reims in 2020. At the Ligue 1 club, he scored nine goals and provided five assists in 68 games across two seasons.
In the summer of last year, he signed a six-year deal to join Almeria, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win over Barcelona, the club’s first-ever win against the Catalan giants. He scored seven goals and provided two assists in 22 games, helping his side narrowly avoid relegation.
For the Eagles of Mali, Toure has featured 15 times and scored five goals since he made his debut for them in October 2020, with three of those goals coming in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
