French club Lille have confirmed the signing of Nigerian youngster Adeshina Ayodele from Beyond Limits Football Academy, Afrosport reports.
Although the figures involved were not disclosed, the 18-year-old striker has put pen to paper on a five-year-deal, and will initially join Lille’s Pro 2 group, the club’s second team to continue his development.
Ayodele, who was born in 2006, starred in Beyond Limits’ triumph at the Viareggio Cup in Italy a few months ago, scoring 5 goals and providing an assist in 7 games.
“I am very happy to join LOSC and to be part of the Lille family,” Ayodele told club media on Friday.
“LOSC is for me one of the best clubs in France, so I am delighted to be here. I would like to thank all my coaches and teammates who have crossed my path, especially in Nigeria, and also thank LOSC. ”

He was integral in helping the Ikenne-based team gain promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the 2024-25 season, and he also played a part in their run in the 2024 Gothia Cup in Sweden in July.
