Former Manchester United forward Shola Shoretire has joined Greek side PAOK FC on free transfer.
The 20-year-old’s contract with the Red Devils ended last month which made him a free agent.
The Newcastle Upon Tyne-born player, who is of Nigerian heritage, will now team up with Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong in the city of Thessaloniki where the club is based.

Shoretire’s football career saw him play for different English youth clubs including Newcastle United, Sunderland and Manchester City before joining Man United in 2013, making his first team debut in 2021.
He made a total of five senior appearances for the Red Devils and spent time on loan with Bolton Wanderers in League One.
Shoretire has been capped eight times for England at youth level but is eligible to play for Nigeria by virtue of his parents.
