Veteran Croatia international, Ivan Perisic, has joined Dutch club PSV Eindhoven until the end of June 2025, with the possibility of a renewal for another season, the Eredivisie side announced on Wednesday.
Perisic was initially on loan at Hajduk Split from Tottenham Hotspur in the second half of the 2023-2024 season before joining the Croatian side as a free agent in July 2024.

The 35-year-old, who has been without a club since he left Hajduk in August due to a conflict with head coach Gennaro Gattuso, played 14 times in the six months he spent with the team.
Perisic, who has over 700 career games under his belt, has enjoyed success across a lengthy career having previosuly donned the jerseys of Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, and Tottenham.
“Since becoming a free agent, I have been waiting for an opportunity like this: a club and an environment where I feel comfortable and can win trophies,” the Croatian said.
“I asked for advice from Denzel Dumfries, and his response only convinced me that this is the right move. I can’t wait to start playing and give my all for the trophies.”
Perisic played 136 times for the Croatian national team, finishing as runners-up at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, before claiming a bronze medal at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
PSV’s Director of Football Affairs, Earnest Stewart, lauds the acquisition of Perisic. He added: “To have that much match experience you have to be a good player, who is almost always fit. Otherwise you don’t come close to that.
“With the imminent departure of Hirving Lozano there was a vacancy on the wing, but he can play in many different positions. With Ivan we kill several birds with one stone.”
The Dutch club suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Juventus the Allianz Stadium in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, but they currently sit atop the Eredivisie standings with five wins in their opening five games.
