Brighton & Hove Albion have confirmed the signing of Gambia striker Yankuba Minteh from Newcastle United.
The 19-year-old moves to the English south coast in a deal that runs until June 2029 and is reportedly worth £30 million.
Minteh joined Newcastle from Danish club Odense last summer and was loaned out to Feyenoord where be scored 10 goals in 27 competitive outings for the Dutch giants.
“Yankuba is a young talent that has attracted a lot of interest, so we’re delighted to welcome him to the club,” Brighton Technical director David Weir said in a statement on the club website.
“He is an exciting attacking player with incredible speed. He had a very impressive campaign with Feyenoord, gaining experience in both the Champions League and Europa League.
“Now we will give him the time and support he needs to ensure that he settles in.”
