Getafe have completed the loan signing of Guinea international Ilaix Moriba from German side RB Leipzig, the club announced on Monday.
Moriba, a graduate of Barcelona’s prestigious La Masia academy, joins Getafe on a short-term six-month deal until the end of June 2024.

The 20-year-old will reunite with Jose Bordalos, whom he played under while on a two-year loan at Valencia.
Moriba, who is currently on international duty with the National Elephants of Guinea, will not be available for Getafe until February as he prepares to compete in this month’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The Azulones were forced to sign the youngster after Uruguayan midfielder Mauro Arambarri suffered a knee injury, which will keep him out of action for several months.
Moriba hasn’t played a single game for Leipzig this campaign, and his loan move to Getafe provides them with midfield cover as they look to push ahead in the Spanish top flight.
Bordalos’ men are currently eighth in the La Liga standings with 26 points and six wins after 19 games this season.
