Doha set to host CAF Champions League & Conderation Cup quarterfinals draw

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the date and venue for the quarterfinals draw of the 2024/25 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, Afrosport reports.

The draw for the two tiers of African club football will be conducted in Doha, the capital city of Qatar, on Thursday, 20 February.

The remaining eight teams in both competitions will get to know their respective opponents, as CAF revealed that the Confederation Cup draw, which will be decided first, will take place at 12pm local time (3pm Nigerian Time), followed by the Champions League draw an hour later.

The quarterfinals of both competitions will be played over two legs, with the Champions League games scheduled for 1-2 April and 8-9 April, while the Confederation Cup fixtures are set to take place on 2 April and 9 April.

 

 

Champions League teams: Al Ahly & Pyramids (Egypt), Al Hilal (Sudan), AS FAR (Morocco), ES Tunis (Tunisia), MC Alger (Algeria), Mamelodi Sundowns & Orlando Pirates (South Africa).

 

Confederation Cup teams: Zamalek & Al Masry (Egypt), Asec Mimosas (Cote d’Ivoire), RS Berkane (Morocco), Simba SC (Tanzania), Stellenbosch FC (South Africa), USM Alger & CS Constantine (Algeria).
