In 41 minutes of play, the 33-year-old Croatian made 10 of 14 field-goal attempts while making five of his six attempts from beyond the 3-point arc. He also finished the game with four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
The opening quarter was evenly contested, with both sides sharing the spoils with 36 points apiece. With a strong third quarter performance that saw them score 38 points while holding the Mavericks to just 29, the Pistons went into the fourth quarter with a ten-point advantage.

Despite leading both sides in scoring and assists, the Slovenian’s double-double of 35 points and 10 assists was insufficient to give his team the victory.

The loss was the Mavericks’ sixth in their last eight games, and it marked their fourth straight defeat away from the American Airlines Center, continuing their dismal recent away record.
