Samuel Chukwueze provided two assists which were crucial in helping AC Milan defeat Manchester City 3-2 in a pre-season friendly in New York City on Saturday night.
Erling Haaland put the Citizens ahead in the 19th minute before Chukwueze turned provider for Lorenzo Colombo’s goals in the 30th and 34th minute to give the Rossoneri a 2-1 first half lead.
The 25-year-old Nigerian joined the Italian giants from Villarreal last summer and scored three goals and provided as many assists in 33 competitive outings.

James McAtee levelled for City in the 55th minute before Marco Nasti scored the winner for Milan in the 78th minute.
It was their first win of the pre-season under new manager Paulo Fonseca. They will play further friendlies against Real Madrid, Barcelona and Monza before starting the Serie A season against Torino on August 17.
