Chelsea have confirmed that Jadon Sancho will return to Manchester United at the conclusion of his loan deal, Afrosport reports.
The 25-year-old English winger joined the Blues on loan for the 2024-25 season after falling out of favour with then-Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.
Sancho featured 41 times in all competitions for Chelsea, scoring five times and providing 10 assists. He found the back of the net in the UEFA Conference League final as Enzo Maresca’s men came from behind to defeat Real Betis 4-1 in Wroclaw.
Chelsea had the option of purchasing Sancho for £25 million but reportedly paid a break away fee of just £5 million to allow his return back to Old Trafford.
“Chelsea Football Club can confirm Jadon Sancho will return to Manchester United following the conclusion of his loan,” read a statement on the club website.
“Everyone at Chelsea would like to thank Jadon for his efforts and we wish him every success for the future.”

Sancho’s return to Man United means he will not be part of the Chelsea team that will travel to the United States for the FIFA Club World Cup.
His future with the Red Devils remains unclear as he has a year left to run on his existing contract.
