AS FAR Ladies and TP Mazembe have advanced to the knockout stages of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League after winning their last round of matches in group A on Friday, Afrosport reports.
Former champions AS FAR defeated debutants, University of the Western Cape 2-0.
Doha El Madani, the 19-year-old forward bagged a brace to secure their third win to wrap up the group stage with a 100% record.
In the other simultaneous Group A game, Priscille Kreto was the star in Casablanca where TP Mazembe secured a commanding 4-0 win over Aigles De La Medina of Senegal to reach the semi-finals for the first time in the history of their participation.
Larcho Marta and Merveille Namguji were also put their names the score sheet.

On Saturday, Group B games will be decided with Reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns taking on Nigeria’s Edo Queens, while Egypt’s FC Masar face Central Bank of Ethiopia.
