Malibongwe Khoza is confident Mamelodi Sundowns can defeat Pyramids FC in the second leg of the CAF Champions League final in Cairo on Sunday night, Afrosport reports.
Both sides played a 1-1 draw in last Saturday’s first leg in Pretoria, giving Pyramids the advantage on away goals.
The Egyptian side have home advantage on their side and will be crowned champions with a win or if the game ends in a goalless draw.
Sundowns can however win African club football’s biggest prize if they win outrightly or draw the game from two goals upwards which will give them edge on away goals.
“Tough game of course, but I think they’re going to sit back and as they did away coming from us, they’re going to come maybe in the later stages of the game, last 30 minutes, but I think we’re going to handle the game very well and I’m confident that we’re going to win the game and the final,” Khoza said.
