Dreams FC kept their dreams alive in the CAF Confederation Cup after edging past Stade Malien 3-2 on aggregate in Sunday’s quarter-final second leg.
The Ghanaian outfit had claimed a 2-1 win in the first leg on home soil and Sunday’s 1-1 draw in Bamako was more than enough to see their impressive run in the competition continue into the semi-finals.
Rivers United however could not make their 1-0 first leg advantage over USM Alger count as they lost 2-0 away in the second leg courtesy of Mali midfielder Aboulaye Kanou’s brace in either half.
Also through to the last four are Zamalek with their 3-2 aggregate victory over fellow Egyptian side Future FC after a 1-1 draw.
