Burnley manager Vincent Kompany has stated he is happy at Turf Moor amid reports linking him with the vacant post at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Belgian tactician and former Manchester City player has earned rave reviews this season after guiding the Clarets to automatic Premier League promotion having joined them last summer from Anderlecht.
Tottenham have been without a permanent manager since Antonio Conte departed the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in late March and with his assistant Cristian Stellini charged with handling the club in the interim.
A search for a permanent manager has been on but Kompany says the speculations are not on his mind.

“I know the question, but what can I say? I’m not happy? We are 14 points clear at the top of the Championship,” Kompany said.
“A key part is I’m always happy, never satisfied.
“It is not at the forefront of my thoughts at all.
“Wherever I am, in my head, it is always the biggest job in the world.”
Kompany also said he knew questions about his future would come up at some point but stressed he was not keen to answer them.
“I don’t waste answers on my future,” he continued.
“I said that from day one at Burnley, in anticipation that one day there would be questions like this. [I will] crack on. I’m focusing on Reading and the next games.
“It’s an enviable place to work. We have infrastructure, we have talent, and it’s an enjoyable place to work.”
Despite sealing Premier League promotion, Burnley are yet to win the Championship. They could however do so in their next home game against Queens Park Rangers on April 22.
