Gift Orban scored his first goal for Hoffenheim in a 2-2 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt at PreZero Arena on Sunday afternoon, Afrosport reports.
The Nigerian forward joined the German outfit from Olympique Lyon during the ongoing January transfer window, making his debut in a 3-1 win against Augsburg at the start of the year.
He featured in two further games against Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich, both ending in defeat before he was unused in the games against Holstein Kiel and Tottenham Hotspur in the Bundesliga and Europa League respectively.
Orban was thrust into the starting XI against Frankfurt on Sunday but it was the Hesse State outfit that went ahead in the 26th minute through Hugo Ekitike.
Adam Hlozek thought he had equalised on the hour mark for Hoffenheim but it was cancelled by VAR for offside.
They were however not going to be denied five minutes later as Hlozek found Gift Orban who tapped in from close range.
It was superb work from Adam, bursting down the left again, before squaring for Gift to tap-in for his first #TSGoal!!

Ekitike put Frankfurt 2-1 up in the 71st minute but Hoffenheim were able to level deep in added time thanks to Hlozek who sent in a thumping volley.
The result moves Christian Ilzer’s men four points clear of the promotion/relegation playoff spot while Frankfurt remain third on the standings behind Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.
