Brahim Diaz eyes scoring more goals this season after netting a brace in Real Madrid’s 4-0 bashing of Granada in La Liga on Saturday.
The Moroccan started and played for the entire 90 minutes, netting two second half goals after first half goals from Fran Garcia and Arda Guler.
It took him to 12 goals in all competitions this season, eight of the them in La Liga along with seven assists, four of them in La Liga.
“I’ve scored 12 goals and got 7 assists. There are still a few games to go and I want more. It’s so easy to play with my teammates because they help you to get the goals. And when I set them up, they know how to finish,” Brahim Diaz told the club website.
“This is all thanks to my teammates and the most important thing is to win trophies. We’ve won the Spanish Super Cup, LaLiga and now we want to win the Champions League.”

Brahim Diaz also revealed that Vinicius Junior, who was rested for the game after helping Madrid into the Champions League final in midweek, told him he was going to score against Granada and dedicated his goals to the Brazilian.
“Vinicius told me I was going to score just like I did with my first one today,” he added.
“He told me that when I was running forward, they’d open up and I should cut inside. I got the goal and I dedicated it to him.
“The second goal was a great team move. The team was brilliant today and we all want to get as many points as we can in LaLiga. We also want to head into the Champions League final in the best possible form.”
Real Madrid have been crowned La Liga champions for the 36th time and will wrap up this season against Villarreal and Real Betis before facing Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final on June 1.
