The NBA Eastern Conference final starts tonight with the Boston Celtics hosting the Miami Heat at the TD Garden on Thursday morning, at 1 am (West African Time).
It would be the third time in four seasons, the Heat and the Celtics will be facing each other in the Eastern Conference finals with the latter dominating and advancing to the NBA final.
DR Congolese descent Mfiondu Kabengele, Nigeria’s Bam Adebayo and Victor Oladipo are the African stars on the rosters of both teams.
When is the Eastern Conference final?
Game 1 of the Eastern Conference final will take place on Thursday, 1am (West African Time) at the TD Garden, followed by Game 2 on Saturday, May 20 at the TD Garden by 1am (West African Time).
Games 3 and 4 will hold at the Kaseya Centre on May 24 and May 25 respectively at the same time, 1am (West African Time).
Game 5 is scheduled for Friday, May 26 at Celtics’ TD Garden then Heat will host the Celtics at the Kaseya Centre for Game 6 on Sunday, May 28.

Run to the Eastern Conference final
Miami Heat struggled to enter the playoffs as the eighth seed at the end of the regular season and they stunned the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs first-round before dispatching New York Knicks in the semi-final.
After advancing from the regular season as the No. 2 seed in Eastern Conference, the Celtics started their playoffs run with a series win against no. 7 seed, Atlanta Hawks followed by a hard-fought victory against Philadelphia 76ers in the semi-final Game 7.
