Five Nigerian para badminton players, including Paralympics bronze medallist Eniola Bolaji, are set to represent the country in two major international tournaments in Spain, Afrosport reports.
Bolaji, Chinyere Lucky, Gift Chukwuemeka, Eze Sunday, and Nnanna Jeremiah will compete in the singles category at the 2025 Spanish Level 2 International Para Badminton Championships, scheduled for Vitoria-Gasteiz, from Tuesday, March 4th to March 9th.
Meanwhile, three of the five Nigerian contingents—Bolaji, Jeremiah, and Eze—will compete in the Spanish International Level 1 Para Badminton Championship in Toledo, Madrid, from March 12 to 16.
Bolaji will participate in the women’s SL3—singles event, Jeremiah is in the men’s SL4—singles and doubles, while Eze will compete in the men’s SL3—singles and doubles.
Jeremiah and Eze will then team up to compete in the men’s SL3-SL4 doubles event, further strengthening Nigeria’s presence on the international stage.
