Barcelona forward Ansu Fati has been ruled out for four weeks after suffering a hamstring injury as confirmed on Wednesday by the Catalan club, Afrosport reports.
The 22-year old has been haunted by injuries since his maiden season in 2019.
The Spain international has came off the bench seven times with no goal or assist recorded in that process.
“Ansu Fati has suffered a muscle injury (to his right hamstring) during training on Wednesday. He is expected to be out for around four weeks,” read a statement on the club website.
Fati will be unavailable for Barcelona during their Champions League clash against French side Brest on November 26 as well as La Liga ties against Celta Vigo, Las Palmas, Mallorca and Real Betis.
Barca’s injury woes seems to be racking up as youngster Lamine Yamal, who broke two Fati records of youngest-ever Barca player and scorer, will also be on the sidelines for three weeks with an ankle problem.
