This year’s pairing is a replica of the 2014 draw, the last time Barcelona, Real, and Atletico all made it to the semi-finals at the same time.
The Catalan giants thrashed Valencia 5-0 in the round of 16, Real edged Leganes 3-2 after extra time, while Atletico and Sociedad navigated Getafe and Osasuna, respectively, to reach the last four.
Barca and Atletico last played in the Copa del Rey semis in 2017, with the Catalans edging the Madrid-based team 3-2 on aggregate.
The draw, however, provides a possibility for a Clásico in the final, which will be the first since 2014.
