Jannik Sinner has avoided rival Carlos Alcaraz in the game for the season-ending ATP Finals following Thursday’s draws, Afrosport reports.
The world number one was drawn alongside Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz, and debutant Alex de Minaur in the Ilie Nastase Group, which starts on Sunday.
Meanwhile, world number three and reigning French Open and Wimbledon champion Alcaraz will face Alexander Zverev, Casper Ruud, and Andrey Rublev in the John Newcombe group.
It means the top two Grand Slam champions can only meet in either the semi-finals or final.
