Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim says he is not worried by the poor results the club has churned out since he came took charge of the dugout, Afrosport reports.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday which was their 12th defeat in the league this season, of which eight have come under Amorim.
It has left United sitting in 15th place, 12 points above the relegation and eight points shy of the top 10.
Amorim rather said he is worried about the players whom he is trying to help adjust to his methods.
“I am not worried. I understand our fans, what the people and media think about it, the Portuguese said.
“I want to finish the league strong, I’m not worried about me, I’m worried about the club, the team, the players. I hate to lose; that feeling is the worst. The rest I am not thinking about.
“I just want to help my players. I understand my situation, my job, I am confident on my work and I just want to win games. I am more concerned about the club and the team and the place in the table is my worry. I am not worried about me.”
12 – Manchester United have lost 12 of their 25 Premier League games this season (W8 D5), their most defeats from their first 25 matches of a league campaign since 1973-74 (13) – when they were last relegated from the top-flight. Critical. pic.twitter.com/CWHNYFBXKL

Meanwhile, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou stated that he had no sympathy for United who had a number of key players out of the game due to injury, with Amorim relying more on academy players.
Postecoglou has faced a similar scenario this season which has left his team struggling for consistent results and has subsequently put the Australian under pressure.
“If I check my office, I don’t have any sympathy cards from other managers, so that hasn’t happened. There’s definitely a few,” he said.
“I could see Ruben there, players out of position, kids on the bench. Well, welcome to my world. But that’s for one game. Now do that for two months. Do that for two months. Any club. Do that for two months. “I thought Man United were good [in the game], considering all that, and we had our days when we were good, we beat Liverpool in this spell.”
United will next be in action against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
