Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim says his team are prepared for the absence of Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui who will depart for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, Afrosport reports.
The trio will potentially be out for up to a month representing Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Morocco respectively.
Their absence is seen as a big loss for United, especialy in attack where Mbeumo and Amad have a combined 11 goal contributions in the Premier League this season, including the latter’s strike in Monday night’s 4-4 with Bournemouth.
Amorim however sees their absence as an opportunity for him try other options in the team.
“It’s an opportunity for everyone. We will be ready for the challenge. We already knew that can happen to any team. A lot of teams are going to lose players, a lot of teams have injuries,” the Portuguese tactician said.
“We need to just go for the next game with a responsibility to win the game, to fight, and we will try to find different ways of creating chances and scoring those.”
