Ivory Coast international Amad Diallo continued his impressive season for Sunderland with a stunning strike in their 2-1 win over Luton Town in the first leg of the Championship playoff semi-final on Saturday.
The Manchester United loanee fired in a sublime effort, off an indirect free-kick, from about 25 yards out and into the top corner to put the Black Cats on level terms after Nigerian-descent Elijah Adebayo had put Luton Town ahead early in the game.

Northern Ireland defender Trai Hume sent the home crowd inside the Stadium of Light into jubilation as his 63rd-minute header completed the comeback for Tony Mowbray’s side.
Diallo’s stellar performance was another in a long list of top-notch displays since he joined Sunderland on loan last summer. The 20-year-old has 14 goals for the Black Cats this season.

Sunderland, who finished sixth in the Championship standings, will visit Kenilworth Road for the second leg on Tuesday, as they look to upset third-placed Luton and make it to the playoffs final in their bid to return to the Premier League for the first time since the 2016–17 season.
