The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced changes to the kick-off times for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header between Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau.
CAF initially scheduled the first leg of the fixture, which will take place at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on March 24, for 2 pm, while the second leg at the Estadio 24 de Setembro on March 27 was planned for 7 pm.
Although the dates and venue remain the same, CAF has now revealed that the two matches will be played at 5 pm (WAT).
The Super Eagles currently top Group A with six points after wins against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe in June 2022.
They defeated the Leone Stars 2-1 in the first game before thrashing the Falcons and True Patriots 10-0.
The Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau, on the other hand, are in second place with four points after defeating Sao Tome 5-1 and they played out a 2-2 stalemate with Sierra Leone.
