The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived in Marrakech ahead of their quarter-final showdown against Algeria on Saturday at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, Afrosport reports.
The team departed Fes on Thursday afternoon following assurances from the Federal Government regarding efforts to settle outstanding match bonuses, with payments expected to be completed between Thursday and Friday.
Earlier on Thursday, the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Malam Shehu Dikko, confirmed that approval for the payments has been granted and that the funds are currently going through the necessary processing stages.
Minister of state for finance, Doris Uzoka-Anite also confirmed the development in a post on her official X handle.

The team will have a light training later this evening and will wrap up their sessions on Friday.
