The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday held their first training session in Fes, Morocco, as preparations intensify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Afrosport reports.
The three-time African champions arrived in Morocco on Thursday following a five-day training camp in Cairo, Egypt. The camp included a friendly match against the Pharaohs of Egypt, which Nigeria lost 2-1.
Updates shared on the Super Eagles’ official X account showed the players in training, with Victor Osimhen, who was the last to join the camp, also taking part in the session.
The Super Eagles will have another training session later on Friday evening.

Nigeria will compete in Group C at the tournament, where they face Tanzania’s Taifa Stars, Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles, and Uganda’s Cranes.
The Super Eagles will open their account on December 23 at the Fez stadium in Fes before subsequent games against Tunisia on Saturday, December 27 and Uganda on December 30.
Under the guidance of Malian coach Eric Chelle, Nigeria will be aiming to win a fourth African title. The Super Eagles were AFCON winners in 1980, 1994 and most recently in 2013 in South Africa.
