The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has set a date for the Super Eagles to begin camping for their upcoming matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, Afrosport reports.
Nigeria will resume camp on Sunday, November 10, ahead of their matchday five encounter against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
Reports state that the invited players will fly directly from their respective clubs to Abidjan.
Augustine Eguavoen’s men will take on the Cheetahs at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium on Thursday, November 14 at 8pm Nigeria Time, before taking on Rwanda’s Amavubi four days later at 5pm Nigeria Time at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
The three-time African champions are currently top of Group D with 10 points after four games, and they head into the last round of the qualifiers knowing that a draw secures their place at next year’s AFCON in Morocco.
Meanwhile, Benin is second with six points, Rwanda occupies the third spot with five points, and Libya is at the bottom with just one point.
