AFCON 2025 qualifiers: Super Eagles head to Kigali for Rwanda clash

AFCON 2023: President Tinubu celebrates Super Eagles win over Cameroon

The Super Eagles have jetted off to Kigali for their second 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda, Afrosport reports.

The three-time African champions made a solid start in the series after a 3-0 win against Benin on Saturday in Uyo.

Rwanda might prove to be something of a tough opponent for the Eagles, having won three of their last five matches, including a win against South Africa in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which sees them sit joint- top of Group C, a group Nigeria is equally in.

The Super Eagles will hope to ride on their victory over Benin, while Rwanda will be looking to take their first three points in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers after drawing 1-1 with Libya last Wednesday.
