The 36-year-old Gatogato, who has been a FIFA-licensed referee since 2007, will be assisted by fellow Burundians Rénovat Bizumuremyi, Olivier Nibogora, and Rodrigue Bigirimana, who have been appointed as Assistant Referee I, Assistant Referee 2, and fourth official, respectively, with Gervasio Maria from Mozambique as match commissioner and South Africa’s Victor Gomes as referee assessor.
Meanwhile, for Ghana’s match against the Niger Republic on Monday, November 18, Rurisa Patience Fidele from Rwanda has been selected as the referee.
Fidele will be joined by compatriots Dieudonne Mutuyimana, Didier Ishimwe, and Jean Claude Ishimwe as Assistant Referee I, Assistant Referee 2, and fourth official, respectively, while Bakary Jammeh from The Gambia is the match commissioner and Mfubusa Bernard from Burundi is the referee assessor.
