The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to play Guinea in a friendly match in Abu Dhabi as part of their preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
The Jose Peseiro-led side began training in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, and they will now take on the National Elephants in an AFCON pre-tournament friendly at the Bani Yas Stadium on Monday, January 8, at 4 p.m.

The three-time AFCON winners currently have 25 players in camp undergoing intensive training, and after the game against Guinea, they are expected to return to Nigeria on Tuesday, January 9, before flying to Ivory Coast a day later.
This year’s AFCON, which is the 34th edition of the continent’s biggest football showpiece, kicks off on January 13 and ends on February 11.
The Super Eagles will begin their hunt for a fourth AFCON title with a meeting against Equatorial Guinea on January 14, before facing host nation Ivory Coast four days later and Guinea-Bissau on January 22.
