Egypt coach Rui Vitoria has invited 18 home-based players in his final 27-man squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The Pharaohs’ list is dominated by players from Egyptian Premier League clubs Al Ahly and Pyramids while foreign-based stars like Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Nantes winger Moahmed Mostafa, Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny also made the cut.
