Former Nigeria international Sunday Oliseh believes Ghana can build their squad around sensational Mohammed Kudus who was a standout player for the Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The 22-year-old Ajax star scored a brace in Ghana’s 3-2 victory over South Korea and was a livewire in the other Group H games against heavyweights Portugal and Uruguay.
Unfortunately, the West African giants were unable to get a result against them and as a result, crashed out of the tournament.
Oliseh, who is a member of FIFA Technical Study Group in Qatar, described Kudus as having many great qualities on the pitch which makes him the ideal star of the team for the future.
“Just watched Mohammed Kudus; a superstar on which Ghana can rebuild a top Black Star team,” Oliseh tweeted.
“Skillful, fast, creative, humble, strong, sharp -shooter, hardworking with leadership on pitch qualities.
“Sad for Ghana they lost out, but with the second half line-up today, the future is bright.”

Kudus has been in phenomenal form for Ajax this season, scoring 10 goals in all competitions – four of them came in Group A of the Champions League against Liverpool, Napoli and Rangers.
In the Dutch Eredivisie, Kudus has four goals in 10 matches, with Ajax sitting in second place, three points behind leaders Feyenoord.
