Super Eagles goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi has signed a one-year contract with South Africa’s Premier Soccer League club, Sekhuhune United.

Sekhukhune United are are struggling in the South African top-flight and they occupy the 15th spot in the table with just a win after seven matches.

They are a point above bottom-placed Gallants.

He was a member of the Flying Eagles that finished second at the 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Holland, he was also part of the Dream Team squad that claimed bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
