Liverpool have completed the signing of Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes in a deal worth £60 million, Afrosport reports.
The Reds have secured a deal for the 20-year-old French centre-back who will remain at Rennes until the end of the season before moving to Anfield in the summer for the start of the 2026-27 season.
He has put pen to paper a long-term contract with Liverpool subject to a work permit and international clearance.

Jacquet’s career began with Rennes as a youth player before making his senior debut in 2024. He has played a total of 31 games, including 18 in all competitions this season. He had a loan spell at Clermont Foot during the 2024-25 campaign.
He has been capped five times for the France U-21 team and was part of the team that won the 2024 U-19 European Championship and was named in the Team of the Tournament.
