Axel Disasi has joined West Ham United on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season, Afrosport reports
The 27‑year‑old French centre-back of Congolese and Angolan heritage has been frozen out of the Chelsea first team, failing to make an appearance this season.
He will however now be able to revive his career as West Ham aim to avoid relegation, currently sitting in 18th place, six points away from saftey.
“I’m very happy to be here, to have this opportunity. I’m just ready to fight and to play games,” he said.
“It’s an exciting challenge. We know that the club is not at the place that it should be, but I’m here to help the team and to bring what I can to achieve our goal.”
