Akor Adams scores in back-to-back La Liga games as Sevilla defeat Athletic Bilbao

Osimhen scores 50th Galatasaray goal after AFCON 2025 return

Akor Adams scored in back-to-back La Liga games as Sevilla recorded their first La Liga win in four matches with a 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao on Saturday, Afrosport reports.

After returning from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations where he scored two goals and provided as many assists, he netted a brace in a 2-2 draw away at Elche last week.

While he started that game from the bench, he made the XI against Bilbao at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan but saw his side fall behind to a 40th minute goal from Robert Navarro before Peque equalised two minutes later.

Adams grabbed the winner from the penalty spot in the 56th minute for his sixth La Liga goal in 16 appearances while Sevilla moved up above Bilbao into 11th place and are now five points clear of the relegation zone.
