Akor Adams made a significant impact on his return from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations as he stepped off the bench to score twice and rescue a 2–2 draw for Sevilla against Elche in La Liga on Monday, Afrosport reports.
Sevilla were 2-0 down after goals in either half from Elche’s Aleix Febas and German Valera.
Adams came on for Peque at the start of the second half and pulled one back in the 75th minute with tap in from an initial flicked effort that struck the post.
The AFCON 2025 bronze medalist then levelled matters in added time by converting from the penalty spot to increase his tally to five goals in 15 La Liga games this season.
Adams had a great outing at the AFCON 2025 tournament in Morocco, scoring two goals and providing as many assists in seven games.
