Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison is set to miss nearly two months due to a hamstring injury, a significant blow to the club’s attacking lineup ahead of their London derby against West Ham United on Saturday, Afrosport reports.
The Brazilian’s absence comes at a critical time, as he has been instrumental this season, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in the Premier League.
Head coach Thomas Frank confirmed the news, stating: “Richy has unfortunately sustained a hamstring injury that will sideline him for up to seven weeks.”
The injury further complicates matters for Spurs, who are aiming to recover from their recent FA Cup third-round loss at home to Aston Villa last weekend.

Despite the high stakes of the derby, Frank urged his players to prioritise their own performance over external pressures, emphasising energy and positivity on the field.
Currently positioned 14th in the league with 27 points from 21 matches, Spurs face a struggling West Ham side sitting in the relegation zone with just 14 points, seven points away from safety.
