The Super Eagles of Nigeria arrived in Fes, Morocco, on Thursday as they prepare to compete in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Afrosport reports.
Eric Chelle’s team reached their destination, having camped in Cairo, Egypt, since Monday and lost 2-1 to the Pharaohs in a warm-up friendly the following day.
Their arrival firmly places the squad in tournament mode, as they transition from planning to active preparation.
The decision to arrive early in Morocco is viewed as a strategic move, allowing players to acclimatise to the weather, training conditions, and match atmosphere, which has previously been emphasised by the coaching staff to avoid last-minute disruptions.

Chelle also has a full-strength squad at his disposal following the arrival of star forward and Galatasaray sensation Victor Osimhen.
Nigeria has been placed in Group C, alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania and are scheduled to commence their campaign against the latter next Tuesday.
