Rwanda head coach Adel Amrouche has announced his final 24-man squad for this month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe, Afrosport reports.
The 57-year-old Algerian had initially named a 27-man provisional list on 25 August, but Claude Smith Kayinbanda, Djabilu Ishimwe and David Niyo have been omitted from the final squad.
Regulars including Fiacre Ntwari, Innocent Nshuti, Ange Mutsinzi and captain Bizimana Djihad all retain their places. They are joined by defenders Fitina Omborenga and Thierry Manzi, midfielders Bonheur Mugisha and Kevin Muhire, as well as forwards Jojea Kwizera and Gilbert Mugisha.
The Amavubi opened their training camp on Monday and are expected to arrive in Uyo on Tuesday night.
