The West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B on Thursday conducted the draw for the 2025 Women’s Champions League qualifiers, with seven teams placed into two groups, Afrosport reports.
Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) champions Bayelsa Queens have been drawn in Group B alongside Ghana’s Police Ladies, Togo’s Association de la Kozah (ASKO), and Sam Nelly FC of Benin Republic.
Bayelsa Queens booked their place in the competition by winning the 2025 NWFL Super 6 playoff title. This will be their second appearance at the tournament, having lifted the trophy on their debut in 2022.
Group A will see hosts ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire face Niger Republic’s AS Garde and Burkina Faso’s USFA.

The qualifiers will kick off on Saturday, 23 August, and Nigeria’s Edo Queens are defending champions.
